Entrepreneurs Are Way More Like Musicians Than You Think

Being a musician myself, I feel like I have a bit of insight into this world.

My partner is a full-time musician and, in my opinion, the epitome of an entrepreneur.

People always say how difficult it is to be a musician. They also say how hard it is to start a business.

Being a musician that makes money is essentially having your own business. If you’re serious about it, you eventually get an LLC and try to make your income off your passion.

Now, isn’t that exactly what entrepreneurs do? They’re passionate about whatever product, course, business idea they have, right?

Here are some blatantly obvious ways entrepreneurs and musicians are more alike than you think.

1. Both entrepreneurs and musicians work long hours

My partner wakes up early to get the things he needs to get done during the day, and then goes and plays evening gigs. Sometimes I don’t see him for a solid 16 hours.
